Print is hard to measure: a thousand flyers go out and nobody knows which street, shop window or magazine brought the customers in. Dynamic QR codes fix that. Give each placement its own code, and the scan counts tell you where people actually responded. Because every code points to a short link you control, you can also fix a typo in the landing page, swap the offer halfway through the campaign or switch the code off when it ends — without reprinting anything.
How marketers use QR codes in print
1. Plan the placements
Flyer drop A, flyer drop B, the shop window, the magazine ad — one dynamic code for each.
2. Point them at your page
Add UTM tags to each destination so your analytics separates the traffic by placement.
3. Print with a call to action
A frame and caption such as “Scan for 20% off” — download SVG, PNG up to 4096 px or a print-ready PDF.
4. Compare and adjust
Stats show scans per code by day and city. Change the offer, re-point the winners and pause the rest.
Why dynamic codes for print campaigns
Measure every placement
Scans per code, by day, device, country and city, show which flyer, poster or ad actually worked.
Change after printing
New offer, corrected landing page or a follow-up campaign — the printed codes follow the new destination.
Local offers
“Near a city” rules can send scans in each city to the local shop or offer, from one printed design.
$24.99 / year
Unlimited dynamic codes with editable destinations, scan analytics, smart routing by OS, device, language, country or city, pause and reactivate, CSV import of up to 200 codes and ZIP export. Included in the PRO plan.
Create a campaign QR →QR Codes for Flyers & Posters — FAQ
How do I compare flyers, posters and ads?
Create one dynamic code per placement and name them clearly. Stats show the scans of each code by day, device, country and city, so you can compare them side by side.
Can I add UTM tags?
Yes. The destination is any URL, so you can add utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign and see QR traffic per placement in Google Analytics or any other tool.
Can I change the offer after the flyers are printed?
Yes. Change the destination at any time; every printed copy opens the new page from the next scan on.
How big should the QR code be?
For hand-held flyers, keep it at least about 2 × 2 cm. For posters, plan roughly 1 cm of code width for every 10 cm of scanning distance, and download SVG or a print-ready PDF so it stays sharp.
What happens when the campaign ends?
Pause the code, or point it at your next campaign or a general page, so nobody who scans an old poster lands on an expired offer.
What does it cost?
The Dynamic QR add-on is $24.99 a year with unlimited dynamic codes, scan analytics, routing and CSV import of up to 200 codes. It is also included in the PRO plan.

Summary: Trackable QR codes for flyers and posters give each print placement its own dynamic code, so scans show which flyer, poster or ad worked. The All Innovativ Dynamic QR add-on ($24.99/year, unlimited codes) adds scan analytics by day, device, country and city, editable destinations after printing, pause and reactivate, and location routing.
Small businesses, event organisers and marketing teams use QR codes in print to connect flyers, posters, brochures and ads to a landing page. Using a separate dynamic code for each placement turns print into a measurable channel: scan counts and UTM-tagged destinations reveal which locations and media respond. Because the code points to a redirect, offers can be changed mid-campaign, mistakes fixed after printing and expired campaigns paused or redirected.
