AI Pitch Practice Tools Compared
Roleplay tools sharpen your answers; delivery tools sharpen how you sound. Here is what each tool actually does.
Disclosure: All Innovativ makes Pitch Simulator, one of the tools on this list. We have tried to describe every tool, ours included, by what it does and what it does not do. Details for other tools were taken from their own websites on 31 October 2026, except entries marked *, which come from a third-party comparison because the vendor site could not be checked. Plans and prices change; check each site before you choose.
The short answer
"Pitch practice" covers two different skills, and most tools are built for one of them:
- Answering questions. An AI investor or buyer asks you hard questions and judges what you say. Best when the meeting will be decided in the Q&A: fundraising, sales calls, accelerator interviews.
- Delivering the talk. The tool listens to or watches you and measures pace, filler words, eye contact and structure. Best for stage pitches, demo days and presentations.
If your problem is what to say when an investor pushes back, pick a roleplay tool. If your problem is how you sound on stage, pick a delivery tool. Many founders need both, at different times.

Tool by tool
Pitch Simulator (All Innovativ)
A text-based roleplay. You describe your company, choose one of four modes (investor, sales, board meeting, partnership) and one of four personas per mode, set one of four intensity levels and a 5, 8 or 10 question session. The AI asks one question at a time and adapts to your answers; every answer gets a 1–10 score and a coaching note, and the debrief scores five categories with three concrete improvements. Its Pitch Deck Analyzer can hand your deck's weak points to Pitch Simulator, so the investor starts with your weakest slide.
Good for: rehearsing investor and buyer questions, including board and partner meetings. Not for: voice or video delivery; you type your answers. Plans: no free plan; included in every paid All Innovativ plan.
PitchDesk
Built around AI VC personas that listen to your pitch, ask questions and give a verdict, followed by a pitch report with suggestions. Its site also offers a pitch script generator for founders without a pitch yet, and startup competitions.
Good for: spoken investor pitches with a simulated panel. Plans: free to try, with paid plans.
speaking.app
Analyses a recorded or uploaded pitch: which pitch sections are present (problem, solution, market, traction, team, the ask and more), plus pace, filler words and clarity. It does not simulate an investor asking questions.
Good for: delivery and structure of a talk you will give. Plans: free tier with a few practice sessions a month; Pro listed at $19.99/month.
Yoodli *
An AI speaking coach with roleplay scenarios and plans for teams. Widely used for interview, sales and presentation practice.
Good for: general speaking practice and team training. Plans: a limited free starter plan and paid plans, according to a third-party comparison.
Skwill
An AI sales coaching platform. It lists pitch practice with a buyer persona and real-time feedback, meeting intelligence, and a coach you can chat with on WhatsApp.
Good for: B2B sales teams preparing for specific buyers. Plans: free to try without a card; see its pricing page for paid plans.
VirtualSpeech
AI roleplay for workplace conversations and presentations, in the browser with optional VR. Its higher-education use lets students present their own slides to an audience that asks questions, and rehearse pitches, negotiations and interviews.
Good for: organisations and universities running practice programs. Plans: paid plans, with demos for organisations.
PitchVantage
Presentation practice for universities and companies, with AI feedback on delivery such as pace, eye contact and volume, and coaching on content.
Good for: classrooms and corporate training. Plans: through a demo with the provider or your institution.

A practical combination
For a fundraise, many founders get the most out of pairing one tool of each kind: a roleplay tool to make the answers sharp, and a delivery tool or simple recordings to make the stage version clean. Whatever you use, practice the hardest questions most: see our guides on valuation, why now and your moat, and the full list of 52 investor questions with sample answers.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best AI tool to practice a pitch?
It depends on what you need to practice. For investor or buyer questions, use a roleplay tool such as Pitch Simulator or PitchDesk. For delivery, such as pace and filler words, use a recording-based tool such as speaking.app, Yoodli or PitchVantage.
Can AI simulate an investor meeting?
Yes. Roleplay tools give an AI an investor persona that asks questions, follows up on vague answers and scores you. They are a rehearsal, not a replacement for feedback from real investors.
Are there free AI pitch practice tools?
Several tools offer a free plan or free trial, including speaking.app, PitchDesk, Skwill and, according to a third-party comparison, Yoodli. All Innovativ Pitch Simulator has no free plan and is included in paid plans.
Does Pitch Simulator analyze my voice?
No. Pitch Simulator is text-based: you type your answers, and it scores their content. For voice and delivery, combine it with a recording-based tool.
Is this comparison independent?
No. All Innovativ makes Pitch Simulator. We describe every tool by what its own website says it does, note where we could not verify details, and list the limits of our own tool.
